The Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP), a division of the U.S. Department of Commerce, works with government and non-government stakeholders in Pakistan to develop alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms, such as mediation and arbitration.

CLDP organised an ADR Center Business Development Workshop from 21 June to 23 June, 2023 in Dubai for two ADR Centres from Pakistan – the Musaliha International Center for Arbitration and Dispute Resolution (MICADR) and the Institute of Business Administration ADR Forum Center (IBA-DRF). The workshop focused on developing and refining each Center’s approach to business development and engagement with various stakeholders, including businesses and in-house counsel, law firms, neutrals and international advisors, and government officials. The workshop provided hands-on training and guidance on various aspects of business development, including how to refine a targeted and effective pitch deck for different audiences, identifying value-add of each centre in the market, centre rules, website user experience, sustainability, staff, and business model.
