Twenty-two Lawyers and In-house Practitioners in Korea Join the SIMC Specialist Mediators Panel

SIMC conducted its third Korea Specialist Mediators Workshop from 4-5 October 2023 in Seoul, Korea. The rigorous two-day workshop was attended by 22 lawyers and in-house practitioners from established law firms and businesses in Korea. During the workshop, attendees had a deeper and more holistic understanding of mediation and what it takes to become an effective mediator, especially in resolving cross-border disputes.

Participants of the workshop were guided by a panel of experienced trainers and mediators, which include Mr. Chuan Wee Meng, CEO of SIMC, Ms. Lum Kit-Wye (SIMC International Mediator), and Mr. Francis Goh (SIMC Specialist Mediator). They bring with them a wealth of experience in mediation. Mr. Kap-You (Kevin) Kim, a board member and International Mediator of SIMC, also shared his insights into mediation during the workshop.
